Sally Jameson is a pioneer in her community.

For over 35 years, Sally has actively participated in numerous community organizations and planning groups. She has helped to establish and foster many programs in Charles County. She has forged paths in organizations and has contributed to their successful futures.

Some examples of Sally’s commitment to this community are:

• Serving as Tournament Director for Charles County Odyssey of the Mind (now DestiNation Imagination) for 16 years

• Serving as president of T.C. Martin PTA, Stoddert Middle School PTO and Thomas Stone High School Parent and Student Association. Life Member, Maryland Association of Parents and Teachers

• Working with the Hospice Festival of Trees fundraisers as event chair and volunteer

• First female president, Greater Waldorf Jaycees; current member of the Waldorf Jaycee Foundation, Inc.

A Government and Business Leader, Sally Jameson has served on local and state government committees and associations for more than twenty years. Her vision has become a vital part of many agencies dedicated to improving and fostering government and business in Southern Maryland.

Since becoming elected in 2002, Sally has once again proven to not be afraid of hard work. If there is a job to be done – clean or messy – she is always there. Some of her leadership roles at the State Level as a member of the House of Delegates are as follows:

• Serves on the House Economic Matters Committee. Chairs the subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commercial Law. Serves on the Alcohol Beverages, Unemployment Insurance, and Public Utilities Subcommittees
